Working primarily in oil pastel and oil stick, I distill architecture, objects and automobili to essential lines, colour and form. I established my practice in 2011.

Italy has held my imagination since childhood, but later journeys through Florence, Rome and Milan with someone deeply important to me transformed the way I saw both the country and my own work. I felt a profound connection to the history embedded in those streets, alongside an equal fascination with the craftsmanship, creativity and beauty of contemporary Italian design. Somewhere between the old and the new, my practice found its truest voice.

My work is recognised through the patronage of Lapo Elkann, a painting accepted by Flavio Manzoni on behalf of Ferrari, a customised guitar chosen by Ed Sheeran for a world tour, and features in GQ.

I am drawn to things made by hand, natural fabrics and playing guitar in a band.
