Green T is a unique Fender Stratocaster created by Teddy McDonald, exploring the relationship between music, art, design and the emotional value of objects.

The motifs sharp geometric forms reflect the visual confidence of 1970s Italian design — an era when automotive designers, from Pininfarina and Bertone to Ferrari and Alfa Romeo, understood that typography, badges and surface details could transform functional objects into icons.

A guitarist since his teens, Teddy has always understood the instrument as more than a functional object. Green T became an opportunity to transform the familiar form of the Fender 'Eric Clapton' Stratocaster into a singular artwork — a piece where colour, symbolism and graphic language combine to create a new identity.

The motifs that define Green T are deeply personal. The “T” references Teddy’s own name, while the recurring star represents ambition, optimism and the belief that creative ideas can move beyond the studio and connect with a wider audience.

Created as a one-of-one artwork, Green T later entered popular culture when it was played extensively by Ed Sheeran during the Multiply [X] World Tour, carrying the piece from Teddy’s studio to audiences around the world.
