Italy has shaped Teddy McDonald’s practice for more than a decade. Its architecture, objects and visual culture continue to inspire a body of work that explores line, colour and form through observation rather than exact representation.
These private experiences offer the opportunity to spend time alongside Teddy in Florence, discovering the places, details and visual language that continue to inform his work today.
They are not guided tours. They are not art lessons. Held in off-peak Autumn and Spring months, they are conversations, observations and shared discoveries, moving through quieter streets, piazzas, cafés, and neighbourhoods that reveal a different perspective on this extraordinary city.
Whether drawing, walking or simply looking more carefully, each experience is shaped around curiosity rather than itinerary.

A Private Day or Two - Florence

There is no fixed route. Every day evolves through conversation and shared interests, balancing well-known landmarks with quieter places that continue to inspire Teddy’s practice.
For some, the day becomes an introduction to Florence. For others, it is an opportunity to experience familiar places with fresh eyes.

Availability
*Travel to Italy and accommodation is arranged independently and not included in the quoted prices. Teddy's fee covers the experience only. If required, Teddy can recommend hotels and assist with bookings.
Due to logistics and the bespoke nature of each encounter, we do not offer refunds and full payment is required at the time of booking. In the unlikely event Teddy has to cancel, you will receive a full refund within 7 days of us informing of the cancellation.
